The North Tampa Bay Chamber is proud to announce that today, thanks to the generosity of the Glazer Family—owners of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers—99 local businesses across the Tampa Bay and West Central Florida regions received critical grant funding through the Glazer Family Small Business Fund.

This initiative is part of the Glazer Family’s ongoing commitment to helping communities recover from the devastating effects of Hurricanes Helene and Milton. In total, the family pledged $2 million in local relief, including $1 million dedicated specifically to small business recovery. With this latest round, a total of 194 local businesses have now received direct funding to support their rebuilding and resilience efforts.

“The North Tampa Bay Chamber  Foundation is honored to partner in this effort and help deliver meaningful support to our small business community,” said Michael Berthelette, Board Chair of the North Tampa Bay Chamber Foundation. “Our small businesses are the heartbeat of this region. These grants don’t just represent funding—they represent hope, momentum, and the strength of community.”

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Glazer Family, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Glazer Family Foundation for their unwavering commitment to our region’s economic recovery. Their investment is making a lasting impact on Main Street businesses still facing the long road to recovery.

The Glazer Family Small Business Fund is administered in partnership with eight local chambers: The Tampa Bay Chamber, North Tampa Bay Chamber, South Tampa Chamber, St. Petersburg Chamber, Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber, Manatee Chamber, Greater Plant City Chamber, and Amplify Clearwater.

North Tampa Bay Chamber Foundation Business Grant Award Process

The North Tampa Bay Chamber Business Grant Awards recognize outstanding businesses within the Chamber’s geographic footprint. The award process follows these steps:

Independent Judging – Applications will be evaluated by an independent panel of judges based on established criteria.

Score Compilation – The Chamber office will compile the judges' scores to determine rankings.

Membership Bonus – Businesses that are members of the North Tampa Bay Chamber or Greater Pasco Chamber will receive one additional point added to their final score.

Award Determination – The Business Grant award committee will review the compiled scores and determine Grant award amounts based on performance.

Final Approval – The list of applicants will be submitted to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers/Glazer Family Foundation for final approval.

Fund Distribution – Once funds are received, the North Tampa Bay Chamber Foundation will distribute Grant awards to the selected businesses.
